Holden IQ FAQ’s

What different USB devices does Holden-iQ support?
Holden-iQ supports most smartphones and MP3 players that can be plugged in via the USB port. It also supports many different brands of USB flash drives.

What file formats are supported for songs and playlists?
Holden-iQ supports song file formats including .mp3, .wma, and .acc name extensions. iPod® and iPhone® are also supported.

How many Bluetooth® devices can be enabled in the vehicle?
Holden-iQ can recognize up to five different Bluetooth® enabled devices.

If there is more than one Bluetooth® device in the vehicle, which device will Holden-iQ default to?
It will recognise the devices in the order in which they are listed on screen. If a device listed isn’t in the vehicle, Holden-iQ will recognise this and immediately pair with the device that is in the vehicle.

If there is more than one device in the vehicle, how can I switch devices?
Yes, simply press the CONFIG button on the centre console and access the Bluetooth® menu to see the list of different paired devices. Scroll through the list to find the device you’re looking for and touch OK.

Why can’t I hear anything when I select a USB audio source?
Try to select previous or next track. If this does not work, disconnect and reconnect the device or restart the device.

Why does my iPod®/iPhone® sometimes stop working with Holden-iQ?
If your iPod® or iPhone® has stopped playing music through the Holden-iQ system, try to disconnect and reconnect the device or when safe, restart the device.

Will my device charge while plugged in via a stereo auxiliary jack?
No. However if your device supports charging via USB, we recommend using the USB port. Alternatively, use the auxiliary power socket in the centre armrest console.

After turning the ignition off, why doesn’t Bluetooth® streaming automatically resume when I turn it on again?
It depends on the device you’re using. Some rely on the media player being switched on again before they will resume streaming. A display on the Holden-iQ touch-screen will advise users whether their device needs to be switched to media player to continue streaming once the ignition is turned back on.
